A fine sampling of the splendid food we were eating last week on the Island of Djerba, off the coast of Tunisia. Lots of super fresh fish, and delicious Mediterranean vegetable dishes.


Brik. thin pastry folded in half over a stuffing, eggs, fish, vegetables etc, and fried.



This was a smoked fish dish with peppers.




Chicken tagine.



Fried rolls with soft cheese and mint.
