Barcelona - Café de L'academia

We just about managed to get two seats at the bar in this place in the gothic quarter on our first night in Barcelona. And we were so glad we did. Everything was delicious.

Cod poached in olive oil, with tomato confit, pistachios, and black olives.


Duck confit with potatoes and a sweet mustard sauce.


Wild mushrooms and sliced potatoes in a porcini mushroom sauce with pine nuts.


Raw fresh cod with romesco sauce.
