With the Sweeney and the Lieu, we pottered around the Borough market last week and stocked up. Breads, veg, salami, wild rabbit (a fiver!), free range chicken. That place is amazing. I know I have it good here in NY with the Union Square market though so I can't be too envious.
Ok it's May, so probably not very local tomatoes... but such gems. That's the big difference between Union Square and here.. I guess Union Square everything is grown just down the street.
On the balcony. Salami sandwiches, salad, ginger beer. The sky was demented with cloud patterns, like cherubs. Our friends we're filling the flight path above, flocking to the wedding.
